One of the possible applications of the keywheel may be text input for portable devices like
MP3 players. That may provide a direct access to compositions without tree navigation.
We called this method Circumscript, and here you can find the demo of 4-segments
Circumscript gesture input using the keywheel.
Click at a segment of the keywheel (by left mouse button) containing the desired letter
and move the cursor in clock-wise or counter-clock-wise direction around the center depending
on the letter position. The current letter is highlighted at the small status display. Just you release
the mouse button it will appear on the bigger display. If you missed a necesary segment you can
sweep back at any moment to correct your input.
