Stroke Set Info: Devanagari Script

Devanagari script was originally developed to write Sanksrit but was later adapted to write many other languages. It used to write: Awadhi, Bagheli, Balti, Bateri, Bhili, Bhojpuri, Bihari, Braj bhasha, Chhattisgarhi, Garhwali, Gondi, Harauti, Hindi, Ho, Kachchi, Kanauji, Kankan, Kashmiri, Konkan, Limbu, Marwari, Marathi, Nepali, Newari, Sanskrit, Santali, Sherpa, Sindhi.

This strokeset is for 3x3 pad and it contains 3 layouts: Latin and Digital and Devanagari. Latin and Digital are default (draw strokes in left six cells). Devanagari layout contains strokes for Devanagari Script.

Image at the left presents all basic symbols. The first stroke of every letter is black, second - red, third - blue, forth - green. Hint: The matra stroke is always the last stroke of a symbol. You can use this strokeset or add your own strokes for Devanagari alphabet.

Installation Instructions.

At Tablet PC you can use Mangal font to display Devanagari characters. At Pocket PC you need to download any Devanagari UniCode font into /windows directory. Please also select this font for Demo layout.
